2018 Board

Experienced Senior HR Operations Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the automotive and textile industry. Over 25 years years experience in the field and current PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. Earned Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) focused in Textile Engineering and Technology.

I have been a resident of Sylacauga for over 50 years. I retired from Sylacauga City School System, taught 28 years at East Highland Middle School.  I volunteer with several nonprofit organizations, including  B. B. Comer Library Board, Arts Council, Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board, Sylacauga Beautification Council, Sylacauga City Schools Foundation and The Talladega area Tuskegee Alumni Club. I’m an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist church. I enjoy gardening. traveling, visiting friends and family, arts and crafts.
