Kids Fishing Derby

The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sylacauga host children ages 12-under from the Sylacauga region as they enjoy a morning of fishing and fun at Lake Howard located in Sylacauga. This always is an exciting event which promotes sportsmanship, conservation, and provides a terrific community experience. Families are encouraged to bring children to Lake Howard to fish for their favorite catch. Local game wardens and foresters from the Talladega National Forest join these children in celebrating the great outdoors by fishing.
